Come for an exciting day of gathering & releasing pheasants on a couple of sites as we educate kids of all ages on how to release properly and why these conservation efforts are needed. We will be gathering the birds at the Pheasant pens. We will be releasing the birds at a couple of spots at Legacy Island. We will be providing drinks, snacks and hot dogs.
When: Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 9:00 am for the gathering; 1:00 pm for the release of the birds.
Where: Pheasant pens for the gathering; Legacy Island Parking lot for the release meeting place.
What to bring: Please wear weather appropriate clothing and boots or hiking boots.
